“What to cook today?” is asked in every household every evening, and generic recipe apps answer with dishes nobody in the family actually eats: the wrong cuisine, the wrong allergens, the wrong amount of effort for a weeknight.

Build

DineJot starts from the kitchen you really cook from. Pick a cuisine and location and the daily shelf changes with it; set allergen and diet tags once (vegetarian, halal, heart healthy, diabetes friendly) and those dishes are filtered out of every plan. Families vote on what to cook, and every dish links to a cooking tutorial in the regional language.

The catalogue holds 2,166+ dishes from 24 countries with realistic weeknight cooking times. Built on Rails with native Android and iOS apps.
